T.J. Mcintyre (b. 1978) [1] is a writer from Alabaster, Alabama. His short stories, poetry, interviews, and articles have appeared in numerous print and electronic publications. Recent appearances include author spotlight pieces in Fantasy Magazine; a poetry chapbook, Isotropes: A Collection of Speculative Haibun [2], from Philistine Press; stories in M-Brane SF, Everyday Weirdness, and Tales of the Talisman; as well as recent poetry publications in magazines such as Illumen and Scifaikuest.

From 2007-2009, he edited Southern Fried Weirdness, a webzine and anthology series celebrating speculative fiction and poetry from a southern American perspective.

Currently, he is still actively writing, interviewing, and working on several novella to novel length projects while running a free flash fiction site, Southern Fried Shorts [3], which he updates weekly with a new story every Friday. He writes a monthly column on the Apex Books Blog[4].
